Over the years, racquetball has given me far more than trophies, rankings, and memories. It has introduced me to extraordinary people from every walk of life. It has taught me about perseverance, discipline, faith, friendship, and the power of believing in something larger than ourselves.
Today, I am asking for your help.
I have begun writing a book called Against All Odds.
On the surface, it is the story of a boy from Montreal who discovered a miracle in a gymnasium and dared to dream impossible dreams. It is a story of victories and defeats, of opportunities seized and opportunities lost, of mountains climbed and valleys endured.
But this is not really a racquetball book.
It is a book about vision.
It is a book about hope.
It is a book about refusing to surrender when circumstances tell you that you should.
It is a book for every person who has ever felt called to something greater than themselves.
Throughout my life, I have often been told that I was destined for great things. Some dreams were achieved. Many were not. Yet the greatest lesson I have learned is that success is not measured by how many goals we accomplish, but by whether we continue to believe, continue to grow, and continue to serve others despite the obstacles placed before us.
The message of Against All Odds reaches far beyond racquetball, sports, business, or personal achievement. It is a message for dreamers, builders, entrepreneurs, athletes, families, leaders, and anyone searching for purpose in a challenging world.
